Shooting Star won titles both bends and straight trained by Ian Wallas for his brother Malcolm Clarke the dog was acquired on the recommendation of Paul Jennings an ex club member of Stockton and he was duly purchased from Dave Severn in the Midlands at first Ian had to be persuaded to take the dog on and it was not many weeks down the road before the dog rewarded Ian with his first bend title at Whitwood Greyhound Stadium

Shooting Star went on to win several title including the prestigious supreme racing champion title BWRA also winning the Whippet News top ten 2 years in a row. His guts shear speed and determination carried him though many minor injuries.

He has gone on to pass to his own offspring the same guts and determination siring such dogs as Rch/Nch Ones Cushties Star, Rch Ebon Sue, Rch Sunbird, Rch Scubydont, Rch Guess What Power Girl & One Off.

Mick & Kath Turnbull acquired this dog by default as the Breeder Malcolm Clarke would not sell him due to a small pin hole on his eye. Mick asked could he take the pup to keep his other one out of the litter company this being Simply the Best.

Malcolm gave the pup to Mick and Kath as a gift Wishy as he is fondly known at home out performed all others and never let Mick and Kath down at any event.
